At Kimono Collective, each piece is either vintage or individually upcycled from traditional Japanese textiles. Because of this, most items are one-of-a-kind.

We want you to love your piece. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

Right of Withdrawal

Under EU consumer law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us within this period by email at:

Once we confirm your return request, we will provide instructions for returning the item.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the item must:

• Be unworn beyond trying on

• Be returned in the same condition it was received

Items showing new signs of wear, damage, washing, perfume, smoke, or strong odors cannot be accepted for return.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost during return transit.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue a refund using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days after the returned item has been received and inspected.

Exchanges

Because most pieces in our collection are unique vintage garments, exchanges are usually not possible.

If you would like to exchange an item, please contact us and we will do our best to help you find another piece you love.

Vintage Garments

Many items in our collection are vintage Japanese textiles. Small imperfections, marks, or signs of age may be present.

These characteristics are part of the history and authenticity of the garment and are not considered defects.

We photograph and describe each item carefully so you know exactly what you’re receiving.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include photos of the issue.

We will resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

Kimono Collective was created to give traditional Japanese textiles a second life outside Japan.
