These upcycled cotton shorts are crafted from authentic Japanese yukata — a traditional lightweight summer kimono — featuring a deep navy base with vibrant floral accents inspired by Natsu no Umi (夏の海), meaning “summer sea.” Light, breathable, and expressive, they capture a relaxed warm-weather feel.

Each pair is carefully handmade from vintage yukata cotton, reworked into a modern silhouette while preserving the softness and character of the original textile.

Designed for comfort and everyday wear, the shorts feature an elastic waistband for a flexible fit, along with practical side pockets and a back patch pocket.

Every piece is one of a kind, with patterns and fabric placement varying slightly, making each garment unique.
