This vintage haori features a vibrant red silk fabric accented with striking contrast dots created using the traditional shibori dyeing technique. The scattered pattern gives the garment a lively rhythm while maintaining the refined elegance typical of vintage Japanese textiles.
A haori is a traditional Japanese jacket originally worn over a kimono. Today it is appreciated for its relaxed silhouette and versatility, making it easy to style with both casual and contemporary outfits.
The outer silk jacquard fabric combines smooth texture with areas of shibori patterning, creating subtle visual depth. The lightweight printed silk lining features delicate floral motifs, and the haori includes matching himo ties that allow the jacket to be worn with an optional front closure.
Each piece in our collection is carefully sourced in Japan and selected for its quality and character. Because these garments were traditionally handmade and worn, every haori is completely one of a kind.
